Great blog, Beth. I've learned a lot about building on STJ and it's a good thing I can't afford it. I'm exhausted just reading about it.
I can't wait to see how far along you are by the end of April. Love the idea of the cork floors.

I grew up going to work with my dad, who was a home builder and a project manager for commercial projects and I just LOVE this sort of thing.

I love your building blog, Beth! Thanks for taking the time to educate all of us:) The ceasarstone looks really nice. I also hate when my glasses chip/break on my granite.

Thank you everyone, it is truly a labor of love!!! I appreciated all the building blogs before ours, here on St John and all the other tropics building blogs I read. We are benefiting from the slow down of the building boom on St John and that we can be on island to supervise our build to limit costly mistakes!

My family stayed at Mar de Amores last November and my wife was glad the orange baracades were there to prevent us from driving into what I see is your lot. Great view, and the blog brings back great memories!
