We typically use credit cards for everything. I have a feeling the island vibe is 'cash'. Should we pack the green? Thanx!

I just bumped up the "cash only" thread.

We use VISA/Mastercard just about everywhere. I know it's recommended to try to leave tips in cash.

There's also an ATM in Cruz Bay at the bank. Is there one at Love City in Coral Bay, too???

I like to use credit cards whenever I can, as well. I did run into some places that take cash only -- Deli Grotto in Mongoose Junction; Donkey Diner in Coral Bay.

Boat trip I did took only cash or checks. If you go to BVI, you will need cash for customs fee ($20/person).

I paid cash for ferry, but not sure if they take other forms of payment.

I'd suggest taking some cash along. I tend to take a little more cash to STJ than I would to other places.

Have fun!
