Travel agents, PanAm, TWA, Eastern. It just wasn't that long ago. So much has changed, in just the "getting there" part.

Well, we can be glad that guidebook is obsolete---even more mistakes and ridiculous statements than most.
The NY Times article is a bit scary, because it seems rather current to me. I still think of both the Westin (Virgin Grand, first) and the Gallows condos as being
"new". The past 25 years certainly have flown.

Well..not all Travel agents are gone Marcia, I'm coming up on 25 years in the business soon

...and Hugo...I too don't know where the years have gone...but the business of travel and tourism has certainly changed.
