This is the first time I have written a trip report-but I enjoy reading everyone else's so I figured it is only fair to contribute so here goes:
2/25/11 - We left in the middle of a big snow/rain storm - which added an hour to an already long trip to Boston. We did a park/fly at the Embassy Suites - great place - clean - good service and close to the airport.
2/26 - It was a smooth trip in the morning to the airport - and the wait time went fast. We arrived on time (3:00)and Constatin from Amalie was waiting for us with our car. We are the last ones off the plane and the bags were already there. Before we knew it we had a cold beer and were on our way. I didn't want to rush for the 4:00 barge so we stopped at Food Center to get some groceries - which ended up being a very good idea. They had a good selection and decent prices. We grabbed another cold one at the barge dock and got on the 5:00 to St John :D Our villa rep was waiting for us when we got there and we followed him to the house - which was incredible. We stayed at Reef Bay Holiday Villa out on Fish Bay Road It has 4 bedrooms - 2 masters 3 /12 baths. It is set up in pods so everyone could have privacy or hang out with the group. There were 9 of us. My husband, myself, our 3 daughters with their spouses/partners and our grandson :). Our oldest daughter was joining us on Sunday but everyone one else was there. We had burgers on the grill and went to bed fairly early.
2/27-I got up early -DH slept in. We all hung out by the pool. soaking up the fantastic view and the g reat amenities of the house. I had to pick up my daughter and SIL at the 12:45 so I went in and got a few things at Starfish  went back and had lunch on the patio. The weather was great the entire time we were there. We hung out and swam in the pool for a while and then we decided to attempt the steep trail to the beach with my husband in the all terrain wheelchair we brought with us. It was quite an adventure to say the least - but we made it - we stayed for an hour or so then back to the house for dinner. We take turns cooking dinner and it was daughter #2's night - we had a great meal on the patio and played cards for a while. Then off to bed. We were planning to try Francis Bay on Monday. More later...

I bet he was! I really enjoyed those trips when our son was still a "baby"
