Registered user number 3,000 is...

The next registered user will be number 3,000 - by no means anything major for the web but still a milestone. And I know there are probably dozens if not hundreds of "junk" users registered too - even with the activation by hand, you would be surprised at how many people register and then never sign in - ever. Can't really be sure if they are just are lurkers, never get their log in info, never come back by choice, or were just would be spammers in the first place! Anyway... just an FYI.

I must admit that while I do visit the forum at least once on most days of the week, I only log on if I post a reply or make a comment.

There are many people though who look legit, but never, ever sign in after they register. There is also (at least) one user who has been registered since the start - and signs in regularly - but has NEVER posted! I guess they use the PM system -

Thanks everyone! Long time lurker with a bit of insomnia paid off this morning I guess
Lurked before my 1st trip to STJ almost 2 years ago, even met Ruth in person that trip. Headed back for Carnival this year. So excited!

Very much like Bill, I chose to disable my "log me in automatically" feature and so, even though I read the message boards (this and the OT one) a couple of times a day, I don't log in unless I have something to respond to.
I hardly ever use the private message feature.
