Newbie needs help with decision based on views

First trip coming up this year. Down to 2 villas:
Casa Bueno
www.vrbo.com/251116
Villa Tiffany
www.vrbo.com/273090
The views are a big part of this choice and while it looks like they both have great ones, I just can't get beyond how distant Casa Bueno views are to the water. From the pictures, the views from Tiffany are more what makes me go "yeah" inside my head.
Anyone have any sage advice or help getting this into perspective for me? I know either will be terrific but I am obsessing about it and cannot wait to get a decision made and move on. Thanks

Hi and welcome here!
I have stayed at Casa Bueno and loved it there. Yes, the view is from high above the water.
I have not been to Villa Tiffany, but I am thinking "loria" may have been staying there this past week... maybe send her a PM if she does not answer here.
Have a wonderful first time!

Hi! Welcome to the forum!
I see what you mean about going "yeah" with the Tiffany views, but considering the view, I'm thinking you'll be way out there and way up there, which means, consider the road up! Some of the higher villas have some pretty rough road getting to them. I'd ask that question of both villa owners.
One of our forum members, Sherban, has gone to a lot of time and trouble to locate many villas on Google Maps, here's a link:
http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?hl=en&ie ... 2&t=h&z=14
Casa Bueno is listed on the 2nd page, but I didn't see Tiffany on the list (I just may have missed it), but maybe you can locate it yourself, and if you do, PM a new "Push Pin" location to Sherban to add to the map!
Whichever villa you choose, it'll be awesome!

Thanks for the replies. I found an old post where they placed a "probable" push pin on the google map for Tiffany. I know from someone who recently stayed at Tiffany that the road is steep. The road to Casa Bueno is paved. I don't think I am worried about the road unless it is easily washed out? I have watched some of the videos of treks up some really steep drives and roads. If they can do it, so can we I guess! My husband will love it.
I have done alot of research through this forum and TA. Looked at lots and lots of villas. Narrowed it down to ~20, then less, then less. Now down to these 2 with Lagoon Pointe a distant third. By this point for previous vacations I usually have zoned in on 1 that just feels right. But this has proved to be harder than all other trips. Maybe because the cost is higher for villa (I have upped and upped my budget, too!) But we do spend alot of time, especially in evenings, at our "home" so just want to make the right choice. I hate to admit this, but unless I am thinking about something I absolutely have to, I am thinking about this choice. Makes my head hurt and at some point I am just going to pull the trigger to be done with it! On a lighter note, I got my "Feet, Fins and Four-Wheel Drive" today

Hi mrob
I've located Villa Tiffany on the map that California Girl mentioned and have sent Sherban a pm about putting a pin.
I can tell you where it is. Enlarge the area off of RT 107 in coral bay right below Sanders Bay. You will see a road going up the mountain and a pin for Easy Breezes (although that villa is not on this road), follow the road up to the end of the switchback to the end of the paved portion of road and you will see a turquoise roof, that is Villa Tiffany.

Based on views, I'd have to pick Tiffany...

We prefer an Ajax Mountain location which Casa Bueno is closer to but it was not available later this month - so we are in fact at Tiffany. Great property management firm for both.
I received a PM from someone who was just there who noted that the road was not that bad - took about 5 minutes. The only quirky think I have found out about Tiffany is that there are no spices (a little odd) so either bring your own or plan to buy the essentials other than Salt and Pepper.
I think the location is great - close to Shipwreck Landing and all the other great things that the Coral Bay end of the island has to hold.

I have heard that the view from the pool at Casa Bueno isn't great because it's off to the side.
And all the bedrooms at Villa Tiffany are exterior access if that matters to you.

Actually there is one master in the main part of the house with interior and exterior access and another master in a separate pod on the other side of the pool. The third bedroom is downstairs.
