Thanks, I am a "member" but had opted out of their emails because they never had anything I wanted. This sale may be coming at a good time for me.
edit: So I just checked for a random week in June. Lowest price is $299/nt Special Introductory Rate. Plus 10% resort fee plus 7% BVI tax. So we'll see how good this ruelala deal is.

I'm interested to see how the resort turned out. We ate at Donovan's Reef on our honeymoon, which was pre-construction. I'm not sure if its even there anymore.
I've been casually following the resort. I'm interested to see what its like.

We visited Scrub Island this past November and glad that we paid very little to stay there as we were very very disappointed with the facilities (we won an auction on Luxury Link). The service was fabulous but there was still much to do to bring it back from being out of business for so long. For example, the site indicates 7 restaurants were open but in actuality, there was only 1 (very expensive). The area is beautiful and has potential but not sure where they stand financially. Trip Advisor had some comments recently that indicated the property still has a long way to go and people were not happy with what was available. Strangely enough, those comments were taken down. It might be a good place to go for less than a week and once they are fully operational, the potential for longer stays would good!

I wasn't aware that they had ever been in business; my impression was that they never finished building to begin with. I cannot imagine the level of debt they incurred by constructing on a separate and unsuitable island.

The deal is 3 nights from $1,300-1,800.
and 5 nights from $2,200-2,800. In an "exquisite ocean view suite"..
