Palm Tree Charter trip?

Hi everyone - We are hoping to do a trip on Palm Tree Charter for our first trip in July. My question is what are your feelings on visiting the Baths. I was thinking we would skip it for our first trip and just do maybe the Indians, Caves and somewhere else if time. My reason is that our kids and actually all of us had a bad experience on the "Cat" Ferry going to Nova Scotia. Just a really rough day on the sea. About 90 percent of the boat was sick on a 5 hour trip, therefore, our 13 year old remembers quite well. I know once they are on the boat they will be fine. The Bath's I figure we could do next trip which hopefully there will be one and from all I have read on these boards I am sure there will. Any input would be appreciated. Our kids are or will be 10 and son turning 14 on STJ. Thanks for your help.

To get to the Baths would take most of your day and leave little time to see anything else. I think the kids would have more fun going to the Indians and snorkeling and maybe the Willie T for lunch. John's boat is a power catamaran and the ride is very smooth though. I tend toward seasickness and had no problems our day with him.
Feel free to discuss your concerns with John and he'll suggest an itinerary.

Agree; as much as I want to visit the Baths one day, the Palm Tree Charters day isn't the right day. Snorkeling the Indians was fantastic, the Caves were somewhat unique so I'm glad we did it but it won't be on the list next time. Capn John seems like a pretty good judge and he has plenty of experience, so I would say give him an idea of what you like and he'll do the rest.
