We've visited St. John several times since our honeymoon in 1993. We're headed back this April with friends and we've been discussiing the many dining options. The island has so many unique and amazing offerings but with only a week it's difficult to narrow it down.
For anyone who has recently visited or maybe even lives there, what were some of your favorites?

My favorite is Rhumblines. Also like The Tourist Trap for lunch, Uncle Joe's BBQ for take out, Lime Inn, LaTapa and The Banana Deck are also very good but we haven't eaten there lately. Beach Bar food is pretty good too. You can get a good, reasoably prced pizza at the kitchen across from Joe's Rum Hut.

Our musts:
- Banana Deck (garlic ribeye)
- Lime Inn (the tasty drinks are my favorite part)
- Rhumblines
- Cafe Roma (portions are huge so don't go on your last day b/c you'll have leftovers)

Beach Bar - Tuna Down Now was delicious! Several times!
Aqua Bistro - had a wonderful meal here 2 weeks ago
Ronnies Pizza - very good after a grueling day at the beach!
Tourist Trap is a huge favorite - had we stayed in Coral Bay we would have made it here several times.
Brunch at Miss Lucys is the bomb!
Did not make it to Vies - on the list!

Have been to St. John many times and have never tried Asolare. On a family vacation a couple of weeks ago we decided to go there as our "grand finale". It was fabulous and the view was to die for! Also, love Shipwreck, Rhumblines and the Beach Bar.

I love Shipwreck Landing, Cafe Roma, and Banana Deck, but give me Skinny's for a good burger any day... but I will take my hubby's cooking at our villa deck with a great view and a flavored rum drink while skinny dipping any day !

(Is that TMI?)

Holy beans. Are we related?!?!?
My Sweet Amys' home cookin' is to die for, especially when being served nekkid.

I think I'm going to start a new official tradition of "Nude Food Dining" this trip. Maybe start with "pizza by the pool", not sure..."shish-keboobs" could get freaky with those pointy skewers, and fondues could end up being painful, as well...

-not sure we're ready for all that, yet...
Other than that, my favorites for food are, in no particular order-
Zo-Zo's
Uncle Joe's
Rhumb Lines
Sun Dog Cafe/ Gecko Gazebo
G Spot
Skinny Leg's
Shipwreck
JJ's
Vie's
Amy loves the Tofu Scramble at Donkey Diner...
And there's a trailer across the street from the car barge ferry dock at Enighed. Delicious Johnny cakes; not Vie's, but yummy. Can't for the life of me remember the name of the joint...long night.
It's too funny how we plan/eat a lot of our meals at the villa, leave for the beaches, and eat our way across the island anyway. Everything is just so dern good!
Smiles-
MJ

Wow, great responses so far!

Thank You to everyone for sharing your tips!
Does anyone know if the space formerly held by Chateau Bordeaux is vacant? What about the outdoor grill on the left side of the building? I believe Loretta used to open for lunch there.
