pre-vaca jitters......and not packed --at all--wondering if cool breeze wil actually stay open for us (real problem if not!)will it snow (not in the forecast) will the flight get cancelled, will the pet sitter show up, will i have timeto shop pre ferry, i think this is why god invented wine...... I hate this late arrival crap (we always take 655 from JFK and get in early--now we are stopping in CLT and crazee fest ensues!)........we usually do Shipwreck for first meal, but thinking that we are going to be late, the kids will want to jump in the pool...so......should i cook or can someone recommend take out in Cruz bay? (that can survive an hour or so)
I so don't have my sh&t together....... hope to see someof you at the beach bar on the 27th.....maybe on the 20th if no car at cool breeze .........

You will get there and love it. Get pizza from cafe rom a or BBQ from Joe's. We usually bring kid food down and make Mac n cheese or whatnotnfor them the first night...it will all be good...with enough wine!

Will it snow ???? - not here

Call Uncle Joe's from the Red Hook ferry dock just before you board and it will be ready when you arrive - you have to pass it anyway on the way to Cool Breeze and hey if you don't get food you always have Coconut Vodka what more could you need

Loria... LOL.... I'm feeling the same way and we don't leave for another week! We just finished off a few bud lights at the local watering hole and I was telling hubby that I really needed to get stuff packed this weekend. Also praying for no snow in Chicago on the 25th so we can get out on time. Never connected in CLT before so I hope we do ok in that airport. Arrive STT at 2:15 and all will be good as soon as the hot air hits us and I get the free shot from the rum lady!

Happy 50th to you! I celebrated mine in the islands last year.

to make you guys feel better- we have a 3 am wake up call for a 5:30 am flight tomorrow (headed to Nevis first, then STJ) and I have not finished packing. Sipping a painkiller (have to build tolerance, right?) and listening to NSR now.. guess I'll go finish packing. Whatever I forget I can live without, as long as I have rum and STJ!

SO EXCITED for you guys heading down bright & early tomorrow!

This time tomorrow all of your questions will be answered, and you'll be so relieved!
Have fun, and I'll look for you on the webcam!!!
Grab some juice,a bottle of rum & some beers, and hit Uncle Joe's for supper in your new "home" for the week!
