I spotted a old Virgin Island tag on the front of a car in Elkhart,In. yesterday on the way to church. It's one of the old mustard colored ones.It got me pretty excited{I doesn't take much} and I wondered if they spotted my mustard V.I. tag on the front of my van? There must be a few Virgin Island fans out there! :D

Holy cow, I only live about 20 minutes from Elkhart! My aunt and I have VI plates, but they're shiny and new!

Is that legal? How do you get V.I. plates? Do you lift them off of a taxi while on vacation? I wouldn't have done that even in colege.

I have an old tag, too. I bought it at the store near JJ's in Cruz Bay. Haven't put it on my car yet because I have to drill holes in the bumper first. It is legal in PA 'cause we only need to display real plate on back bumper and these are tags no longer used on STJ.

Cmw5682,20 minutes from Elkhart?Heck, your pretty close to me!I'm about 14 minutes from Elkhart,In.I work in Elkhart, but live in Michigan.I do wonder who that was on Sunday turning left into the Northpoint area? As for the plate that I own,I found it on the East end of St.John back in 2006.It was in the bushes.I bought one more plate for a friend of mine at Captains Corner in Cruz Bay back in 2007.Parafins

Don't have a VI plate but did want to say hi to a fellow Eddie. We have a house on EagleLake and have a few STJ decals on our boats. We leave tomorrow morning for our 5th trip to our favorite island.

We're 20 minutes south, sounds like you're 15 minutes north! As for the plates... all my aunt would say was she 'found them' while on vacation 2 years ago. Now that you mention it, I never asked exactly where she found it!
