What time do these stores open in the AM and close in the PM?
Also, how is the food and atmosphere at Sun Dog?

Not sure of the hours, but Sundog & Gecko Gazebo are awesome!!!
Great swanky feel surrounded by shops. Be sure to check out Best Of Both Worlds, really groovy store. Pick up a frog by Tim The Frog Man- super cool!
Maybe we'll see you down there.

We'll definitely check it out then! I am trying to decide on a place for our dinner on arrival day. Just want something very casual as we will be trip worn, not looking our best and in need of an adult beverage and some good food. Beach Bar? Castaways? Sun Dog?
When are you there MJ?

We're there 5/5-5/14. Can't get here soon enough, sister!
Depending on where you're staying, we like to hit Woody's our first day for the obligatory painkiller. Yum-mo!
I think we'll be hitting Shipwreck for our first dinner this time, after,of course,a visit to Aqua Bistro & their juicy drinkies.
Can't wait!!!

I hear you!! We will miss you by a week and a half! We are staying in Chocolate Hole so definitely Cruz Bay for the first night's dinner. Shipwreck is on my itinerary for lunch the next day though.

Kristen-
The conch fritters with the tangy sauce- sorry, don't have their menu in front of me, are REALLY GOOD!
My mouth is watering...
Yum, yum, yum!

Sun Dog Cafe is great for dinner. And on Wednesdays it is open mic night. We had a fabulous dinner and a great evening there in December!

Kristen---I love having something casual at the Beach Bar on the first night---because its right on the water, it really makes me feel like I am in St. John.

The Beach Bar is great at the end of the first day of travel. You don't want a big meal but you want to know that you've arrived....Al

Beach Bar and Banana Deck are my top choices for when I am tired from traveling and want something casual and comfortable.

Sun Dog is open for lunch 11 am til about 4-5 pm every day.
Novemberish to May-Juneish dinner is 6 pm until 9 pm Monday thru Friday.
Wed night is open mic night and this year Lauren Jones is hosting and its been packed with a variety of music and packed tables so go early if you want to sit and eat.
The bar, Gecko Gazebo is open until 9 pm every night. And remember, when the kitchen is open you can always eat at the bar!
Beach Bar is serves food until 11 pm and Garbo has taken over the pizza place next to Rum Hut so that should be offering up some good stuff.
