Travel flippers

After years of checking coolers with food and huge rolling duffles we have finally become confirmed carry-oners. 22x14x9 and a personal bag under the seat in front of us. We've been pretty successful the last three years and kind of like getting off the plane and heading right to the taxi stand. So this year both of us are considering retiring our old flippers for the shorter travel jobs just to make our packing a little easier and maybe make room to stuff a little more in.
So how many of you have made the switch, how are the shorter models and are there any you would recommend?

My wife and I always do carry-on. My problem is I refuse to rent fins because of ill-fit and the short one's just don't work for me. So, I purchased a simple mesh "backpack" style snorkel bag to carry our fins. This is my "personal" item and fits nicely under the seat.

I need new fins and was thinking the same thing. Interested in hearing recommendations as well.

Why not just cut them? My kids were competitive swimmers & cut them to make it a more strenuous workout & they also would cut fun designs on the tips so they could spot theirs among many on the deck. You may have to kick a little more, but I don't think any of you are doing a competitive swimming workout LOL

I am also a carry-on person. My husband and I bought the travel fins a few years ago and they work well. If there's no room for them, we rent just the fins.

We have been using the travel fins (our brand is US Divers) ever since our first trip. They are great! No problem packing them, and they work great! I even stuff things in the feet to save more space. Wouldn't leave home with out them. Now they don't work well for diving, but Collett always has what ever we need.
