Anyone tried the Kodak PlaySport video camera?

I have been looking at purchasing the Canon D10 for specifically for underwater photos, but the Kodak PlaySport takes still photos and video. I am sure the Canon would win if it just comes down to photo quality, but the Kodak is less than half the cost. I like the option to shoot video or photos underwater.

I have the Kodak Playsport and have used it on St. John for snorkeling. I owned a Flipcam previously and exchanged it for the Kodak when, while on vacation it froze and stopped working. I love the underwater capabilities of the Kodak but have not used it for taking still pictures.
It, of course, does not measure up to a regular video camera, and you need to move slowly when videotaping and it does not work well in low light situations, but I have been more than pleased with it and you can't beat the cost.
I'm not very technologically savy, so once I take the video it usually stays on my computer. I need to figure out how to transfer it to DVD at some point!

I too have one and liked it's small size and underwater video...that being said...it leaked on me in Nov and now is useless.

JUST received one as a 'thank you' gift from dear friends who we introduced to St. John and I love it, love it, love it! Takes great underwater shots (closest my one friend will ever get to snorkeling!

and it took decent shots above water, including stills and videos. Really happy with(and thankful for) it so far...
