Nancy Hayes is a beautiful woman that resides on St John. Most of you have never met her, but many of you have enjoyed the amazing hot sauce she creates - Valley Doll - distributed freely at the tables of most restaurants in Coral Bay, and sold to the masses at places like St John Spice. Nancy worked at Shipwreck Landing for many years and that is where I got my first taste of Valley Doll Hot Sauce. Made with love - for sure!

Nancy is in the midst of the fight of her life against ovarian cancer. Please consider donating to her online fundraiser for medical expenses. She has had to travel back to the States for treatment..and as you all know - every little bit helps!

I have seen the good this Forum can do. Let's spread a little more St John love!

FYI people, to ensure the most donations you have to enable the credit card option on your donation site, not just the Paypal account option. Lots of people dislike Paypal for lots of reasons.

Nancy has lived on St. John for many years and is part of our St. John family.
I did not know about this web site and I thank you for posting it, Sun4MySoul.
I am sending strength to Nancy and praying for her recovery.

Her name was McGill, but she called herself Lill, but everyone knows her as Nancy. As Ruth said, Nancy has been a long time fixture on STJ, along with her wonderful sister Donna. They both are the epitome of all that we all love when it comes to the Coral Bay "local" that works the service industry. Nancy's good people and BT and I pray for a full and speedy recovery for her. A donation for her will be a done deal and quick from us.

We've used PayPal for a lot of things with no issues. Now I'm wondering what the bad deal is?

When you receive money via paypal, you receive less than the sender actually paid, because paypal takes a fee out. I'm going to guess that's the issue referred to before.

Still, paypal is an easy way for me to donate to lots of causes that I might not otherwise take the time to donate to, because it's so easy. That's why I choose to do it that way. I think it's better to receive some money that wouldn't otherwise be donated because of the hassles. There might be other issues that I don't know about, but that is one.

Hope this dear lady is well soon!

But you can elect to pay the fee yourself.
If you want to gve $30, you can actually pay $30 plus the small fee; a dollar or 2, and then the recipient will get all $30.
I Love paypal!
