Well here we go--all of us here in the Midwest are bracing for a whopper storm. I am just happy that January is over and I can finally say we will be on St. John NEXT month! Hope everyone stays warm and safe out there, wish us luck with this one...

I am not looking forward to this trip into work! We are expecting 15-20 inches of snow here tonight/tomorrow. Why do I live in Wisconsin again??

Here in Michigan they are calling this the worst storm in over 100 years. UGH....I guess tonight I will settle in with my cup of hot chocolate and continue reading "The Spice Neckalace." Maybe reading all about the Caribbean will warm me up. Stay safe everyone that is going to be affected by this nasty blizzard that we are going to get.

Sea-nile: I find myslef saying that allot lately! "Why do I live in Wisconsin?" I guess the answer is family...but I think I've had enough of the cold, snow & sickness that come along with it! Can't wait to go back to the VI's!

We are scheduled for 21 inches here in MA. I have truly had enough.

Am already dreading the commute home tonight...

I'm sitting in New York and it is snowing like crazy.
I leave on Friday to go to STJ and tomorrows flights are cancelled, but Friday still looks good....Al

We've been lucky here so far near Philly. This morning it was just ice. Little tricky to walk, but I don't think this area is going to get the brunt of the storm.

Still...I'm so done with Winter!!

I ask myself the same thing... Why did my ancestors choose to settle here. I can only think that they must have settled in the Summer or they really like snow.

My County is right on the border between the Blizzard warning and the Winter storm warning. Hopefully it won't be too bad here tomorrow. I live only a couple of miles from my work, so I don't have too much of an excuse for a snow day tomorrow :(

Paul and Tracie,
Where in Michigan are you? The guy I work for was suppose to be in Flint on Wed for a funeral of a close friend. I told them to get out of her either last night or this morning before it hits, but they are dragging their feet. I am in Northern MI and the sun is shining pretty nice.

Well, I live in Wisconsin because we have actual seasons, the summers are beautiful, and I enjoy snowshoeing for about 1 month. The rest of winter is good for helping us appreciate Caribbean islands.
