We will be staying at Gallows Point and will admit I am a girl who loves her breakfast..I really would prefer NOT to cook. Other than Chilly Billy's (which we like)is there somewhere to get breakfast in CRUZ BAY..We are not interested in spending $25 each at the Westin/Caneel BAy or venturing out to Coral Bay for Donkey Diner or Miss Lucy's..

JJ's Texas Coast. Doesn't look like much but best damn BLT I think I've ever had & the real breakfasts of those with me look fantastic too!

Tamarind Inn, Deli Grotto at Mongoose Junction and Baked in the Sun at The Marketplace also serve breakfast.

I agree with flip-flop. Going to JJ's for our last breakfast before we take our "walk of woe" to the ferry has become a tradition. It's a great place to people watch and soak up the feel of St. John. Oh....and as flip-flop said, the food is good too....mia :)

I remembered reading this on News of St. John:

Early morning breakfast trend There are three new options for getting an early start to the day.

The Mojo Cafe at Wharfside, Satyamuna at the Marketplace, and Made From Scratch Bakery are serving breakfast. They're not the only ones, of course - just the newest.

Satyamuna, a veggie place, offers eggs, oatmeal, granola and Belgian waffles. The Mojo Cafe is serving up a traditional start-the-day menu. Delrise Varlack's new place, the Bakery, is where there used to be a pizzeria, between the Tamarind Inn and O'Connor's Texaco. The menu features local items including johnny cakes and pates but also has tried but true doughnuts and other pastries. Varlack said her sister has been a baker for some time while she has "always been an eater," she told the St. John Tradewinds. Much of what the Baker offers is home made. The opportunity to get the former Ronnie's space, she said, is "a great way to help my sister Diane get started in her own bakery."
