Our 1st trip to St.J will be in mid May. What can we expect as far as weather, water temps,crowds and etc..

Hi, can't help you much with your question but just wondering why your signature/ticker is above your text? When I first looked at your post I didn't see that you had written anything.

In 2009 we were there Memorial day week and it was on the humid side. Crowds were not an issue though.

We usually go end of April/early May and everything is perfect. No worries!

We have been going mid May since our first trip and we love it. The crowds? What crowds? We have lucked out with the weather (knocking on serious wood here, as there are times where it seems it rains for weeks between Beginning of April towards the 1st or 2nd week of May.

We hit the rock on the 12th!

Good to see another member heading down the same week.

We gave a group of 8 of us going May 21 to 28th again this year. Perfect weather, water should be 81" or so. Not too crowded.

Our first trip to St. John was in mid May (16-23 to be specific). The weather was perfect, water was warm, no crowds. We were sold!
