Are most people here on Facebook? Would love to be friends with more fellow travel folks who like the same destinations! I love browsing people's photo albums too

I just had someone "friend" me because I guess she saw my FB album link in one of my TRs which is what got me thinking about this. If anyone is interested, let me know!

I have often wondered the same thing. Would love to be "friends" with some of the folks here on the forum but figured they would have no idea it was me who was friending them.

I know each FB user has a link to their profile but damn if I can find mine! I have seen it on some people's profile. Maybe we just copy the url when we are in our profile? Easiest way i guess is to just post our names which can be searched (if people are comfortable with that) and then when someone does a friend request just reference your screen name that way we can weed out the non-legit requests? or we can can PM people with our info.

thanks for the topic Kristen- I have been meaning to do the same thing, and thanks to lprof I now have the discussion of everybody's names. Maggy and I talked about it a while back and then the holidays hit. Now I'm on track!

good idea to include a note telling the person who you are. not always possible to connect a person's name with their forum name.

Gosh! I always say I don't want a FB account. I just log in from my kids' accounts (I have to keep an eye on theirs anyway!) but you all are tempting me!!!
