...what time do we need to be on a barge back to St. Thomas? We will likely rent on STT and take the car barge.

Probably the 12:30pm or at the latest the 1pm. The 1pm is a slower boat and if it leaves on time, you will be at Red Hook by 1:45pm so at the airport between 2:20pm and 2:40pm (depending on traffic) but remember you need time to return the car and due to clearing US Customs and Immigration, allow yourself 2 hours at the airport (sometimes you will be through the process in 15 mins if you have no luggage - but I have seen it take 90+ minutes)

Thanks from us as well - going 3/29 and renting a car for first time on STT - so was wondering about timing a little.

Staying at Villa Tiffany. Like others missed a 2010 visit - can't wait.
