I think it's on the road to Starfish, just outside downtown Cruz Bay. Someone else can probably be more specific

Is it just sort of open air/shack like or more of a building? Is there a sign?
I've always been a fan of Uncle Joe's but would be willing and interested to try Candy's out!

Actually it looks like a trailer. If I'm not mistaken it's just before the de-sal plant and definitely before the Marketplace on the left.

I think it is a trailer that is sort of attached to another small building. I know there is a bathroom because my husband used it while waiting for our food.
There are a number of tables set up out front.
We had good take-out in March. The chicken was really good, so was the grilled grouper. The side dishes were very good.
I am really fussy about fat and cartilage so I didn't enjoy the ribs my husband ordered. I put the leftovers in the oven the next morning for additional cooking and they were actually pretty good for a beach snack.

We didn't get to try Candi's, but it is where the one-way loop joins back up just before Starfish. If you're coming from Cruz Bay take the center fork (I think) at the Texaco intersection onto the one way road that goes to Starfish. Candi's is on the left just before the one way ends. Someone told us that it used to be called Sticky Fingers if that helps.
PA Girl, it sounds like they are using spare ribs which have more cartilage but generally a better flavor than baby backs.
We did try Uncle Joe's and loved their food.

Yes, you are correct about the spare ribs. The BBQ sauce aside, the meat was very flavorful. For me, the ribs just needed to be cooked longer to break down the connective tissues.
Reheated, the ribs really hit the spot for a beach lunch.
