I'm not sure what you are looking for. Do you mean bareboat or do you mean charter? I would like to know.

the moorings is a very reputable company that has both options (bareboat and crewed)--they run out of Tortola

We have done both a crewed charter and bareboat. Both times we used Sherry from www.yatesyachts.com

I'll second the recommendation for Sherry Yates. We booked our honeymoon through her and she was extraordinarily pleasant, competent and timely in her communications.

If you are looking for a yacht for two people, I highly recommend Yacht Phaedrus. We sailed with them over 5 years ago and still keep in contact with Charles and Leslie and make it a point to see them whenever we are in the Islands, if they are around. Great people and a great boat.

Ellen Stewart at www.stewartyachtcharters .com has been here in the VI for a very long time and has always been the best lady to deal with for me -- she KNOWS the boats and the crew and what they can offer and is absolutely easy to work with.

We took our first sailing adventure in April/May. We looked at the Moorings and other options and decided to book a Captain/Owner charter. Check out www.sailingbluemoon.com. Captain Jim is awesome and the trip was fabulous. Let me know if you need more information.
