Renting Cherokees?

Does anyone know if any of the rental agencies rent Jeep Cherokees? In the past, we've rented them from O'Connor but there website indicates that they no longer have them.

I haven't seen any other rental agencies that seem to carry them. The Cheroke is bigger than the Liberty/patriot but not huge like the Durango - the standard large SUV, it seems.

I don't think Jeep makes a Cherokee anymore. They do make a Grand Cherokee but I'm not sure anyone rents them on STJ. You will better luck looking for a 4 door Wrangler.

I would try to stick with the smallest SUV you can fit into. When we went in 09, the rentals were the Jeep Compass and the Liberty. We were in a Liberty, friends were in a Compass. The compass was tight for 2 adults, 2 kids in carseats when we went to and from the ferry with luggage, we had to put one of the other family's suitcases in our car. But, the liberty was mot as nimble on St. John's roads, harder to turn around in the villa driveway, and not as easy to get up and down the switchbacks. I would think a Durango would be worse. So, I'd say try to go as small as you can. 4dr Wrangler, compass, or liberty would be my choices.
