Last Full Day!
Coffee and breakfast with this guy

We packed up the cooler with Champagne ( a gift from a friend), OJ, champagne glasses, and our leftover sandwich from Deli Grotto and headed to Francis.

Yes! We had glass on the beach. I know that is against the rules but we were very careful and we did not break anything.
We soaked in the water and soaked up the sun. We read and maybe even napped a little. It was a good day.

I have no recollection of what we did before we went to dinner at Café Roma. We enjoyed our dinner but the service was a little, um, interesting. I can not put my finger on it, he was either super laid back or snotty. It wasn’t horrible, just odd.
I wanted dessert and wanted to see my friend working at La Tapa, but it was mobbed so we sat at the outside bar at the Lime Inn and had chocolate walnut pie. It is so funny to see people that you knew well and they think you just moved to Coral Bay. Rich at the Lime Inn thanked me for coming out. I have been gone 10 years and every trip back someone thinks I moved to Coral Bay.
After dessert, we stopped back to La Tapa and they were still mobbed so we called it a night.
We were both beyond exhausted and it was the warmest of the nights so far, so we closed the windows and turned on the AC and slept in quiet all night…if we had only known!
