Have been considering a day trip to BVI, Tortola, and was considering renting a power boat and heading over there ourselves, has anyone dealt with http://www.oceanrunnerusvi.com/. Thanks.

All I can say is if your a smoker don't let Pete know, he has nice boats and no problem going to the BVI's. Just don't back-up fast or stop all of the sudden in large swells, watched one of his boats sink in front of Foxy's 3 weeks ago. He was not a happy man.

If you are renting a boat with a captain let me know and I'll save you that money and be your captain for free. Plus I get a good local discount on boats which I pass on to you. cypressgirl just wrote a review so you'll know that I'm legit just I love getting out on the water when my time allows.

We rented from Ocean Runner before without a captain. They are fine to deal with and have gotten a lot of good reveiws on this forum. We can't remember ever seeing a bad reviews about them.

We rent every year from oceanrunner(3 to 4 days over the period we're there). The boats are very reliable and Pete and his crew are great to deal with. Its usually the highlight of the trip. Generally hit Waterlemon on the way to to the BVIs
