Got here last night, what a gorgeous place. Just about perfect ! Weather was great today until about 4:00 and we got some showers, now it is cold up here!
Beautiful full moon, getting ready for steaks on the grill, twice baked potatoes (made them before we left Charlotte) A shot of mango rum...on to some wine.
And now Ned (my dork of husband) is so excited to find a Tom Jones CD in the house. Life is good!

Yeah!! I hope those were the last showers you see/feel during your trip! I love Tom Jones, too - so understand the dorky comment!
Have an awesome time!

Dang, I hope it warms up! Do I need to bring my fuzzy slippers? I checked the forecast and it shows highs in the low 80's. How are the water temps? And more importantly, how are dem skeeters?

Byado-they knew this time, but we did do something funny. We told each girl that we were going but that we were going to surprise the other and "don't tell her". So for the past few months they have been hiding it. The high point being at the airport watching both girls snicker and marvel about how stupid the other one was because they had't figured it out. It was hilarious at the gate.
Brenda -the beach weather could not be more perfect. I feel so bad for those who had the rain. Brenda you might need a sweater at night if your villa is up high or if you are cold natured
Ky hope to see you. Just look for the teen with the perfect hair with three grungy companions!

The only bad thing about this place is there is a Ruthster that keeps waking me up.

There was no Ruthster there last year during our stay. I guess the Marines sent in earlier this year will need to return for a second round... that's one tough old bird!
Good to know that you guys are enjoying Casa Bueno and having fun... have a great week!

I would have thought that that rooster would have been silenced by now. Back in May when the owners were there and had us up to look through the house they told us that the rooster had to go. Is there a rooster murder-for-hire service on the island?

Somebody go and get that rooster before we get there this summer! A few years ago we had neighbors who thought it was cute to have roosters as pets. The many neigbors complained but the police said they could not do anything unless they caught them on their property. They were waking us up and our kids as early as 4:00 am sometimes. Anyway, we finally got a neigborhood rooster hunt with about 30 people and tired them out and believe it or not caught them and then took them to a farm. It was hilarious to watch all these people including me run around. The kids had a great time doing this. Maybe they can find some STJ kids to do this too!
