Xcaret Mexico - Here we come

The PAs fly to Cancun Sunday and drive south to Xcaret for a week. This is a family trip, we will be meeting up with my mom (and her husband) and past STJ travellers, for the duration.
Loose plans are to visit the Xcaret partk, Axculmelt (sp?), Tulum, and Xe-Hal.
Trip report soon come.

I admit to "missing" holiday cooking this year. Christmas will be twice the event.
Our son wonders if there will be turkeys to "catch" in Mexico. If not, he will just have ice cream for Thanksgiving dinner. (We are rich with wild turkeys where we live so he thinks it is just that easy - go outside and get a turky.)

That area is our favorite area in Mexico. Akumel is mostly owned by US and Canadian folks. The water is usually great snorkeling.
Enjoy and can't wait for a trip report!

Have fun! I was there 2007 (on a conference) and really liked it. Maybe because I had no expectations, but it was fun. Good diving and snorkeling just outside Xcaret.

We are home safe and sound. It was a great trip. I am downloading pictures right now and will post a trip report sometime over the next few days.
