Today, we decided to do the Ram Head Hike as our daily exercise and it was beautiful! Along the way we made some required stops…

Saw some of the damage left behind by TS Otto.

And ran across a couple friends…

We also stopped at Miss Lucy’s to see the sea grape tree that was damaged by the storm.

After the scenic drive, we made our way to the trail and I could definitely tell that there had been some rain from TS Otto on the hike – the trail was a bit overgrown, things were washed up on the beach and at a few points, we weren’t sure where the trail was. Despite all of that, the hike included stunning views as usual.
At the edge of Salt Pond Bay

At this point on the trail, we were all missing our husbands

Once we returned to our car, we needed a beverage and what could be better than a stop at the Tourist Trap??!! We were also starving so decided to try Skinny Legs. We enjoyed a delicious lunch and then headed back to Grande Bay. After relaxing on the balcony for a while, we decided that tonight’s dinner would include Lobster. We don’t get that much here in Wisconsin, so this would be a special treat. We headed to Morgan’s Mango and each devoured our meals! Delicious!
Afterwards, we decided to have a few drinks at Castaways and enjoy some live music – lots of fun and some new friends later and it was time to call it a night!
