Last night the wind howled and screamed like a gang of cats in an alley fight as outer bands of Thomas moved accross the island. By morning the rain was blowing sideways. Chairs and plants were scattered about the deck.
The sun would pop out in between the cloud bands.

The Pool Boy showed up this morning.

Across the bay it appeared there were no clouds, so we packed up and headed to Vie's for snacks, sun, and snorkeling. Vie was on her way out and said the Shack would open next week... We walked past the cemetery, grabbed some lounge chairs and headed up the beach. In the shade was a lounge chair cemetery containing headstones of victims of the Big Rain.

The snorkel was good, the sun intense.

Still hungry, we drove to the Tourist Trap for fish tacos. Larry said business was slow. While it was calm and sunny by Salt Pond, he said it was howling in town when he went for ice.
