Hi all! I just received this email with a 2 for 1 offer on Polar Bear Coolers. It says it can be shared with family and friends so here ya go:
Dear Polar Bear Customer,
In appreciation of your continued support, we are running our 2 for 1 deal again this year. This offer is available to all existing customers and their friends & family. In addition to coolers, we have added a few new products under the Polar Bear brand that are also included in the 2 for 1 deal.
To order, just go to
www.polarbearcoolers.com and fill your cart with everything you want. At Step 2 during checkout, type 2112 in the "Coupon" box and click "Continue". Your total charge will be cut in half to reflect the 2 for 1 deal. Or, give us a call at 888-438-7924. Coupon is good through the end of the year and while supplies last.
Custom printing and personalization available on coolers.
Thanks again for your support and remember, nothing keeps cool like a Polar Bear!
Have a great Holiday Season!

I got a note from them as well, but my friend Barb was quicker at getting to the Forum than me. I guess I am basically on Island Time.
For those of you who have not seen the coolers or this deal before, they are great coolers. Several years ago we bought one for everyone as Christmas presents. I think they charged $5 to monogram their names on the pocket of the cooler. We included several sheets of Techni Ice in each one as well.

Agreed about the monogrammed coolers - they are our go to gifts - everyone loves them.
I'm not sure about the 2112 code, but the 5150 code seems to always work - I think its a $10 discount.

Thanks Barb!! I've been waiting for this sale! Is it the 12-pak that everyone seems to like best?

Used the polar bear 24 can size this trip for the 1st time. Boston to the Villa 13 hours and everything was still frozen solid. No problem with the TSA and techni-ice.
Which of these coolers would be good for a day at the beach

Which size of these coolers would work best for a day at the beach? Drinks and some food too? The backpack ones look nice because that will leave hands free for the beach chairs.

I like the 12 for the beach. They come with a shoulder strap so you don't really need the back pack configuration to free your hands.

Judging by the size listed online, it looks like the 24 pack would be an ok size for carry-on. Am I right?

Sorry Cal Girl haven't been on too much lately. I believe I have the 24 pack size (maybe the next size up) but we checked it because of the Techni ice and contents. Love the bag though. Everything stayed rock solid frozen for about 12+ hours.

I may be falling in love with that 48-can version. My big old soft sided cooler is on its last legs. 2 trips to St John in July put a hurting on it. I'll have to measure my existing one and see how it compares.

We did 36+ hours once and the Polar Bear kept everything frozen.
I love these coolers and have one is each size. The 48 pack and 24 pack get used hard and after 3+ years, look brand new.
