On the Island before Christmas

Just booked the tickets, and soon we will be on the Island. Arriving December 11th, whats it like this time of the year? Been down many times before, but not December

Fabulous! I've been there Mar, May & Dec. They're all good. Remember, the all-island Christmas party is on December 12th, with Inner Visions playing reggae at Mongoose Junction.

I see you will be on the Island the same time. Lets have a drink at the beach bar one day. Hopefully there will be a beach bar gathering

Sounds like there will be a large group of us on island at that time!
It is delightful! But you might need to make sure to plan ahead as far as reservations and plans!

It's going to be a GOOD time!
Air and water temps are cooler. That's most noticeable to me.

When we went that time of year it was sunny and high 80's all week the water was fine..never felt cold..the nice part was putting on jeans at night with a little top..love that..not sure why. Never wore a sweater, perfect

Jeans?? I have never worn anything other than shorts. Might have to rethink my wardrobe - especially since I committed to only taking a backpack this time...

Perfect time to go....you'll miss the big in season crowds (I hope you finagled an offseason rate, wherever you are staying), but its still freezing at home, so you'll feel like you really need a vacation.
I don't remember any big swells at that time last year. It will be perfect...pretty much like any other trip.
