Howdy to all the DFW forumites!
We are gearing up for our next VIOL forum gathering this Friday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. at Babe's Chicken Dinner House in Garland right off of the 190 George Bush Tollway and N. Garland Rd./Beltline Rd.

It's BYOB so feel free to bring your favorite "island" beverage or whatever makes you happy! Also, brush up on your chicken dance & hokey pokey skills! You never know what might happen!!

They don't take reservations so I am planning to get there early to let them know how many are coming so they can work on getting some tables together. Please come a little early if you can!

We are IN!!! With a jug of Painkillers to boot. I even have the fresh nutmeg and grater!

If the Rangers play Game 6 Friday, Mr SO will be out as he has tickets- he thought everyone would understand

But definitely me and 1 island girl daughter (the other has too much of a social calendar to hang with Mom

)

Can't wait to see everyone and toast Colleen's birthday (that she didn't mention

Understood about Game 6 and I even called Babe's to see if they had a big screen tv we could watch it on but they don't! Maybe everyone will be home watching the game so Babe's won't be so crowded. The way the Rangers shut out the Yankee's tonight, there might not be a Game 6! GO RANGERS!8)
