So are there any more storms hiding out there that may be on there way in the next month??

Just wondering how many board games we should be packing to keep us entertained should we have rainy villa days

Shopper,

How many jello packets can you fit in your suitcase?

Do we need to bring more with us?

See you soon!

Technically the height of hurricane season is past (September) - but - you never know! The Atlantic "train" seems to have slowed, and this current storm Otto was more of a local brew and is forecast to speed away into the Atlantic (heading east, which is sort of rare).

Pudding Shots????

Better stick with the Jello. Pudding shots just aren't the same!

Accuracy beyond a few days on cyclone development is nearly impossible. Basically, you have to look at historical trends, which say that the season is now beyond peak and winding down in November.

Ok, everyone take out your 2010 St John calendars. Oct 18 is VI Hurricane Thanksgiving Day.

Have faith my friends!

My VI Daily News just popped in and it says:

"Although the storm system responsible for the heavy rains is slowly moving northwest, the rain will not stop until Saturday at the earliest, according to the National Weather Service."

Hope you all have lots of games and rum. And candles! Stay safe.

Oh, boy, if I could only predict the storms a month from now, that would be swell!
I would also like to be able to read minds, like Sookie Stackhouse.
See you soon, shopper3!
