we are spending the night in Ft. Lauderdale on the way to STJ. Does anyone have any hotel suggestions? We are leaving a day early and can got on STJ by noon so we have to do it!

Just stayed at the Marriott Courtyard, Ft Lauderdale Beach last week, nice hotel, great AAA rate ($99) easy ride from FLL, across from the beach and walking distance to many good restaurants and bars.

I stayed in a La Quinta on N 26th Ave. in Hollywood. It was fairly inexpensive and the rooms were nice. It's about a 10 or 15 minute drive from the airport.

Yes they do, and they also have a food court.

I did get a voucher for the breakfast buffet at the Courtyard FL Beach, it was excellent and they have a bar also

The "W" is very nice, a bit pricey though.
