Beginning the search for a one bedroom with a pool for next May. Would like to keep it under $1700/week. I know I'm asking a lot.

Any suggestions? Stayed at Great Turtle this year in May with family and had a great time. Others can't make it this year so the wife and I are on our own next year.

How about Casa Yaya in Coral Bay? It has those great high up Coral Harbour views and I like the porch swings.

VRBO looks nice.

We almost booked Open Arms http://www.houseofopenarms.com/reserve.htm last year. Its in your price range and looks great.

We did stay at St John Livin http://www.bookitvi.com/livin.htm which goes for $1995 in May. Very nice.

1 BR's with pool are limited. Check into some 2 BR's as well..and then look for the price for just 2 people. It will be comparable to the 1BR's..

Have you checked out Lavender Hill? I think their 1 bedroom's are $1750 during that time frame.

Check out a one bedroom private villa called Papaya Moon. It has a hot tub and a very private pool, (even if it is a Wally pool)

We stayed here our first trip to STJ. While it is nothing fancy, it was very clean and had everything we needed. It is the last villa on a paved road, and easy to get to. The views are great from Coral Bay to the BVI's.

Thanks for the suggestions, now it gets tough. Which one to choose and getting reasonable airfare.

It's great to have a forum like this, it was extrememly helpful when we made a virgin trip to STJ last year.
