The website lists two twin beds, a "sleeping couch" and an extra mattress stored behind the couch. I guess someone gets a mattress on the floor.

ha ha...I was "afraid" of that.... Gosh...can I handle that? Even for 2 nights? Anyone do the Maho thing with 2 kids? We were thinking of extending our trip by 2 days and doing something we haven't done before...like Maho....could be scary! LOL

Grommit recently posted a great report about time spent at Ivan's on Jost - you should check it out - I can't wait to be able to stay there

I was thinking of Ivans....now just trying out how to time up getting there....we'd probably do it the last 2 nights of our trip...meaning we'd have to get from Jost to St. Thomas for heading home....hmmmmmm

Have you given any thought to Concordia Eco-Tents? They seem bigger and I believe have a bathroom and solar shower.

The extra mattress can be placed on the cot that is stored under the "sleeping couch." Be aware that the tents are not very big, so it will be necessary to put the cot away during the day!

Iluv- Jost to STT is not a big deal you stop at STJ on the way back. Just stay on boat. If you have a PM flight then you would defintiely make it without problem.
Another option is to go to Tortola and take ferry from there to STT. Just check the ferry schedules.
Might be worth a check. Although you have to factor in ferry costs for 4 into the pricing which may make Maho seem like a bargain in comparison.
