This came in an e-newsletter to me today:
Maho and Concordia Safe and Preparing for New Season

September brings thoughts of new beginnings, a new school year starts and plans for winter and spring vacations begin to hatch. In the Caribbean it’s also a time of some turbulent weather and we are here to assure you that all is fine at Maho and Concordia after Hurricane Earl passed by earlier this week.

The staff at both eco-resorts, together with volunteers staying for the month, are repairing tent cottages and clearing away debris from the high winds and rain that hit the U.S and British Virgin Islands. The islands are incredibly resilient in handling the weather during this time. We’re now back to blue skies and sunny white-sand beaches ready to welcome new and returning guests to their favorite escape in the Caribbean.

Many people are starting to make their plans for the winter holidays so it’s not too early to book your reservations especially for the week of Christmas since during that school vacation there is 7-night minimum stay at both Maho and Concordia.

Another advantage of making reservations early is less expensive airfare that is offered in September. We look forward to seeing you whenever you can join us here in St. John!
