Hi gang,
I was planning on renting a jeep on STT and taking it to STJ for the week, however I noted on a previous thread that Hertz doesn't allow travel to STJ. What car rental on STT will let you take their vehicles on the ferry to STJ? Would you recommend one over another?

Though I haven't done this myself, I've heard lots of people (FlaGeorge for one) say nice things about Dependable car rental on STT & they definitely let you go over to STJ.

Budget and Avis let you take the car ferry over to STJ.

If you need a large suv use Budget.They are cheaper than anytying on SJ.If you something like a Liberty use Thrifty,about the same price as SJ.

I am renting from Budget on our upcoming trip, figure this way I can just drive to and from the airport and not depend on taxis. Hertz wont let you take the vehicle off the Island but Budget does.
