Click on the link and look carefully. You can see the "eye" of Earl just to the NE of STT.

Looks like there is still wind and rain to come.

Results for St.John (18.35N, 64.73W):
The eye of the storm is about 65 miles (105 km) away. If the system keeps moving at its current speed of 15 mph and directly towards you, it will take around 4.4 hours (Monday, August 30 at 5:24PM AST) to reach you. You are already experiencing strong winds. Better take cover instead of sitting behind the computer!
Now you know how close it is, find out how close it can get!

Yes, this is good. Every radar has it twirling away. You guys in the island must be blowing hard at it! It worked!

I pulled up the distance tool and got the following answer:
Results for St.Thomas (18.33N, 64.98W):
The eye of the storm is about 79 miles (127 km) away. If the system keeps moving at its current speed of 15 mph and directly towards you, it will take around 5.3 hours (Monday, August 30 at 6:18PM AST) to reach you. You are already experiencing strong winds. Better take cover instead of sitting behind the computer!
That's not your usual weather man facts and figures!
