Not sure if you saw Captn John's post on Facebook, but looks like Hercules Pate is no longer due to a big fire overnight (John posted a pic on his Facebook page). We are going to drive by a little later to have a look ourselves - my thoughts go out to all those who are affected by this.

Ill post the pic in a little bit, but it appears that Hercules is going to have to rebuild by the looks of it - only thing left are the burnt studs.

Oh Man...I couldn't place it until you posted that picture. I know where you mean now...I don't think I'd ever noticed that place before last month...

That's too bad.

:( So sad! We loved that place! Locals: any news on anyone injured? Is this a family business? Is there anyplace open for them to move to, temporarily? I'm thinking there's some space near Candi's Ribs...
So sad!
Prayers for all involved.

One of my favorite authentic West Indian places. So very sorry for Hercules.

We stayed in Coral Bay but when we were leaving, we were sure to swing by Hercules on our way to the ferry.

We pulled those absolutely awesome pates out of the grease stained brown paper bag and munched 'em on the way over to STT.

That helped soften the first step into re-entry mode.

Not to disparage, but it didn't look to be much of a place to start with. Possibly a cheap re-build...I hope! Sure hope there were no injuries.
