Day 2: BVI Mania.
11 of us were up and on the boat by 7:30am. My uncle and his boys had never been to the bvi before even though this was their third trip to STT, and they were advid snorkelers. So the plan was to hit up the indians, caves, then motor over to sandy spit to eat our packed lunch and then over to white bay. The weather was great, we were off with rum punches at 8 am! Stoped at Road Town for customs and we were all set. All was good.
About half our group snorkeled and half our group noodled. I was a snorkeler. The indians is always great snorkeling. Didn't see anything unusual, but we all got attacked by jelly fish tenticles. They were everywhere in the water. Not a very painfull sting, just annoying. We looked like were were covered in chicken pox. Nothing a little vinegar and rum punch couldn't take care of. I noodled at the caves given my recent run in with the jelly tenticles, but my cousins said I didn't miss much. Sorry no snorkle pics, my camera is not underwater capable.
We were now off to sandy spit to noodle and eat. What a great beach , in all my time going to the BVI’s I had never been here. Beautiful blue water and soft sand.

We ate and waded in the water for about 1 hour. A storm was coming over Tortola and we decided to make a pit stop at Foxy’s for some shelter before going over to White Bay. The storm ended up catching us on the boat. It was actually really fun and cool to get rained on!

We got to Foxy’s and we were in luck, he was there and we had his full attention, as we were the only ones there at the time. He told all his classic jokes and gave us a behind the scenes tour of where Foxy’s Lager is brewed. The Friggen in The Riggins were flowen and everyone was feeling good.

It was soon time to stumble back to the boat and we were off to White Bay. The clouds still lingered, but at least there wasn’t anymore rain. Who cares anyway we were at White Bay. I think I had about 4 painkillers while we were there, it starts to get a little fuzzy. Time was up, and we got back on the boat and were off to STJ and customs. Soon we were back on STT and decided to belly up to the bar at Big Bambooz for a drink, or 2. We ordered nachos and when it took almost an hour to get them, we quickly realized our bartender was too concerned with taking shots at the end of the bar and did not put our order in. He blamed it on a waitress serving it to another table, there was only one table in there the whole time we were, and they had only drinks in front of them. We were drunk, hungry, and not happy. We ended up going back to Sapphire and eating a delicious meal of spaghetti and meat sauce that my Mom had so wise fully prepared the day before knowing we would be ravenous when we returned. It was another early night. But such a great day!
