I saw Isla Vista on Book it VI's Facebook page but I can't find it on their web site. It looks lovely for sure but $6900 off season for a 2 bedroom? Wow.

It is a beautiful villa but it seems a bit overkill for a 2 bedroom. Over 5000 sq feet for a house than can only sleep 4?

Wow. That's a gorgeous place in a good location. Too pricey for me, til I hit the lottery.

The Palm Tree House! Finally...I know its name.

We've been in line sight to this house for every trip we've made. It was dark a few weeks ago. Every other time we'd been there, it was all lit up.

They have lights on the palms and they're quite cool-looking at night.

Not that I spent any time looking for its name, but it's good to know.

A couple of more new villas offered through Caribbean Villas:

Serenata De La Playa

Heaven's Gates

Both look great and have introductory rates for 2010. Too bad I don't have a trip planned until 2011!!

Here's another new one (I'm not sure if it's done yet) up on Mamey Peak http://vivacations.com/site/Overview/Pr ... fault.aspx.

WOW - I know this house well (and the owner also) - it is currently for sale and I had no idea it was placed in the rental market
