What has the current weather been in St. John (tough to tell by checking online). We are going to be there next week and just wondering if any locals have better extended forecasts?

Hi Olivia's dad...we have the same ticker. It's hard to believe only 9 days until STJ. With regard to the weather I click on the weather icon on the st john spice cam page. Seems to line up with Capt john Brandi's daily facebook update for his boat trip. I have also been watching the National Hurricane site daily to see if anything pops up.

You can use www.weathercarib.com ------- it is produced locally for the VI and has a ton of predictive info.

We've been here since 8/3 and it's been great- a little on the warm side (upper 80s/low 90s, and not as breezy as I would like- but we're from Dallas so I'm not complaining! Rain has only been at night/early am, with one or two little pop ups during the day. Skeeters haven't been too bad, either (as long as you stay sprayed) We leave Saturday so I have not looked at the recent tropical outlook but I also use www.wunderground.com- go to their hurricane tracking page.
