Hi All....

Okay, I joined VIOL way back in 2007, on our 2nd visit to St. John. Probably posted about 30 or so times, and then just dropped off. Don't really know why, or have a good reason. Although, about for the last year and a half or so, I have been a casual lurker.

I have been pretty active for many years in the "other forum" however, and recently contacted Colleen (MSCG) by PM over there, since we are both from the Dallas area.

In short, she told me of the active & fun group of VIOL members from Dallas, and also that my hubby & I also just missed a Forum party in the Dallas area and encouraged me to once again participate in this forum.

We have since been to St. John 3 more times, with the latest stay at Vida de Mar (we were lucky as we just escaped all of that recent heavy rain).

So, here I am.....back again, and hopefully, with a welcome for this long time lurker

Did you like Vida de Mar? John and I rented that house last summer. It was way too much house for just the two of us but I loved the huge swimming pool!

Gromit, yes, indeed I can write a trip report and possibly even post a few pics, (if someone can walk me though the process)


Liamsaunt, We really did enjoy our almost daily afternoon swims in Vida's extra large pool. It easily accomodated a large group like ours....but we did have to fish out several small frogs and even a small crab, that had lost direction, somehow wandered into the pool, and drowned.

BTW, I contacted Colleen to let her know about the kicked back email problem.

If you have time, post some pics and a little report of your trip. It's pretty easy to post pics from www.tinypic.com. It has a browser that can navigate to the pics in your computer and then gives you the code that you can copy and paste into your post. When you're finished hit preview to see if all is good and then submit!

Don't know what's up with my email, I'll check with Anthony.
