Forum Gathering on 8/8?

Hello forum friends! Anyone planning on coming to the BB on 8/8? We plan to be there! I plan to wear my shirt...... will be the two of us on the beach around 5 pm with our 2 daughters- almost 10 and 6. Let me know if you can join us! T-7 days and I am beside myself......

We wish we were there with you next Sunday! Have a toast for Kyle & I since 8/8 is our 23rd wedding anniversary . . . yes I was a child bride!!!!

23rd???????? Seriously you MUST have been a child bride! Wow. Congrats to you both. We will definitely toast you!! Hoping there will be a group to raise our glass on the SpiceCam!

We'll have the whole family there...the oldest daughter will be married Friday 8/6 on Trunk, and our 30th anniv. is Monday 8/9. A whole lot of celebrating in between! See ya there...

Maybe Ruth can get better information on this as it gets closer, but when we were there this past Sunday the bartender (Adam?) was saying how they were going to close in a week for a week to install a new bar setup. So this might affect something, or maybe not, just to give you a heads up.

Well darn. Toni was right and Ruth confirmed it. BB is closing Aug 2nd to redo the bar- hoping to reopen on the 10th if it's done. So no Sunday jazz on the 8th.
How about relocating the gathering to High Tide? Still good proximity to the beach and Spice Cam. What do y'all think?

Yes! Meeting on the 8th- let's say 5 pm- I think that's the normal gathering time. Plan to meet at High Tide UNLESS, by some miracle, BB is open. We can try to be hanging out on the beach side of the bar at HT. I'll wear my forum t- shirt. Will be mom (me) and Dad and 2 girls- age 6 & 10. Looking forward to mering some fellow forumites, and hoping Ruth can steal a few moments from the Grateful Shed to join us!
