Hello,
How reliable is the internet service on the island. Is it possible to get high speed internet in all parts of the island, or some areas are better than the others? Who are the providers? Thanks a lot for any information.

... There are several options e.g. AT&T 3G, satellite, Broadband VI, which uses radio technology. All of them appear to peak around 1.5/Mbs on the East End. Things may be different around the island.

I find all utilities down here to be spotty at best, especially, like now, when there are rains and higher winds.

Hey! According to people I know, its better on St Thomas. Better, the closer you are to Cruz bay. I have an ATT air card for my laptop. I'd suggest one as back up; it will run off the tower as your cell phone will.
