Hi,
Has anyone ever stayed at Coqui villa? Feedback appreciated. Going in June with Mrs. Dave, kids ages 8 and 11, and Mrs. Dave's father, who's flying in from Japan for the occasion. Thanks,

Hi Dave, John and I stayed at Coqui for 10 days. Are you looking for a general review, or do you have specific questions? I have lots of photos too!

PS: If you have someone flying in from Japan, then you HAVE to give them the best bedroom!!

I think you will be pleased with Coqui. It’s located in the Maria Bluff neighborhood—close to Cruz Bay and on a paved road. The house is on two levels. The main level has the master bedroom, with two walls of windows and ocean views. There is a large bathroom on this level with a huge shower. The rest of the space is the living area (no ac in the living space). This area has huge sliding glass doors that open to the decks and ocean views, and large wooden doors that open to the courtyard. The kitchen is small but serviceable. The main deck is very large and covered, with beautiful views over pilsbury sound, a large dining table, and lots of seating.

The lower pool level is accessed from an outdoor staircase, and has the other bedrooms, all with ac and a bath. These bedrooms don’t have ocean views. The pool is small but nice—sometimes iguanas will come and hang out with you while you are swimming. This deck is large and has chaise lounges that are great for stargazing—we actually fell asleep on them one night! I can’t remember if there is a hot tub, as we never use them.
