I had the pleasure of having dinner with our friend MrsB last night. I was in the Philly area and sought her out for a quiet evening of great Italian food. Sorry, no photos or food porn.

You will all be happy to hear that she is doing very well and is back at work. She expressed her gratitude for everyone's prayers, notes, emails and phone calls. She also expressed a special appreciation for several, and I think you know who you are. She is also amazed with your generosity for donating to MrB's fund at ACC.

MrsB is looking forward to her trip to STJ at the end of October where she will introduce her mother to the island and some of our friends.

She is working hard on getting her thank you notes out. You will be hearing from her as soon as she can. Thank you notes soon come.

I am so jealous! You got to spend time with her and we have to wait to see her until October. Oh but wait. A good time will be had by all. With any luck I won't remember a thing except for the drink I had in my hand. Does that sound bad? Okay, I want to remember if Jorge plays in the band again. And I want to remember if I left a refrigerator magnet on our Villa frig. And I want to remember if I scooped up some sand for my new "Wear the Beach" bracelet. And I want to remember if I went skinny dipping in the villa pool late at night. Oh and I want to remember if we see any rays or turtles. Gosh, I better stay sober!

Well Girlfriend sounds like a tall order, I will try to help you out with all the stuff you want to remember.

Jim, thanks for the update; how nice that you were able to take Amy to dinner and glad to hear that she is back to work and doing so well. (I think we have some overlap time this year with the Halloween gang.) Hope all is well with you and Diana! Ali~ (P.S. - how goes the election?)
