That's Virginians not virgins I have just noticed lots of folks posting who live in VA. I was born in Hampton, raised in Urbanna (anyone heard of it? -- tiny town in VA on the Chesapeake Bay, not to be confused with the Urbana in MD), went to college in Williamsburg, grad school in Richomond, and now live in the DC 'burbs.

I guess I am a VA gal through and through.

And howdie there. Yep I be one of dem Va peoples. We live in Broad Run, near Warrenton. Our agency is in old town Warrenton. Be awhere that RickG and I are putting a forum deal for the Va folks this summer. It will be announced on this very forum and local tv and radio stations.........I lied...no tv would take us because they heard about Jorge!!!!!!!! Hey bro are you listening????...Hope to meet at a local winery just down the rode form us, Pearmund Winery, and then come to our home for a pool party, or just come to our home.It will be a family deal. Covered dish, byob and a full contact "pain killer/bush wacker" taste off. I hope to get the Bongo Bong guys and Frank Barnako to show as well...God bless...Bill

If kids are allowed and vino is encouraged I am all in! Of course my husband who is not as obsessed as I am will be a little confused who we are going to spend the day with!

I live on the MD side of the Potomac River. We have heard unsubstantiated rumors that yawl got indoor plumbing over there now. True?

I live in WEST Virginia (as opposed to western virginia) and I lived in a place called Broad Run until I was 5. It wasn't a town, just an "area" I guess. But my grandfather who lived there also worked in Virginia when he was young (and my father was born in Virginia) so I wonder if that's how our Broad Run got its name. Maybe my grandfather named it, he lived on Broad Run Road.

Clifton Forge, near the Cowpasture River? Harrisonburg, near the Chicken Capital of The World, Fredricksburg, near Lake Anna, another old fav of mine that has outgrown me. I used to fish Anna a lot before the place got so developed.

Yep, that's it. Even walk the old "swinging bridge" over the Cowpasture? Boy, I'm going back in May for a HS reunion, need to see if that thing is still there..and Harrisonburg was near the "Turkey" capital of the world - I remember riding through Bridgewater and seeing all the turkeys out in the fields...Lake Anna still beautiful, but with the nuclear plant and all the building, it's lost a lot of its draw...a shame, but that's what happens.

Well, I have deep "connections" to Va. Me too, VAGIRL, jmu???? then first job in Halifax Co/south Boston. Bro lives in the "resort area" outside of Harrisonburg. LOVE Virginia and hope my girls go to college there someday. son went to teeny tiny all male college outside of Longwood. Anybody guess?

My brother graduated from there in 1992.

My mother is from Virginia. She lived in Arlington and Falls Church, then came to Kentucky to go to UK, met her husband (my father) and never moved back. We did go there to visit her parents every summer growing up though, so I feel like I have a little "Virginian" in me.
