Woo hoo!!!
It seems like just last week that we decided to go to STJ, and now were 9 days away! I think we're ready. The living room is a staging area. Amy (wife) is upstairs right now trying on shorts that haven't seen the light of day since last September. I've printed out the car rental confirmation, the directions to the villa and the confirmation from Captain Phil. I've made up an itinerary with all of the important info to give to my parents (the dog sitters) and Kristen's (daughter) friend's father. Everyone has their passports (just in case) and all of the snorkeling gear is ready.
We have a list of beaches we'd like to visit and restaurants we want to go to. I've made notes about the nest snorkeling spots at the various beacjes from the forum (I've been reading a lot of old trip reports).
Like I said... I think we're ready. We'll see

You might want to print out the cruise ship schedule so you can avoid Trunk Bay on the days the ships are in port

ooo... Good point, CG! I've look at the schedule and it looks like Monday and Friday are the best (one ship on Monday, two on Friday), but i should bring it with us.
Mary Beth, the villa is
Moonsong from Cloud 9.
Dave... You're welcome!

So Ron...
I expect to see a photo of you in your rash guard and do-rag with a glass of something tropical and alcoholic in your hand when you get back

Is the "do rag" a keeper? Jorge
Yeah... Despite the girls' opinions

I simply reminded them about how much I'll whine when my head gets sunburned
CG... I'm normally the one behind the camera for a reason. No one deserves to see me in my rash guard

I couldn't do that you you guys after all the great info you've given me
Papabou... Thanks for the coordinates. I had figured it out based on the driving directions that Marcy sent me. It's nice to confirm that I was right! Thanks for all of your help and input on Moonsong.

Yes, if you go to the top of this page and click on "Trip Planning" > "Getting Here" > "Cruise Ship Schedules" you will see a list of all the ships in port on various days of the current month.

Ron, y'all have a great trip. Can't wait to hear about it. I know what you mean about being in the single digits....I'm down to double now, in the 20's, and it's too, too exciting. Have lots of fun and sun for all of us!
